This will be an amazing opportunity for children and young people based in Wales and bordering counties, from the age of 11 to 16 years old, to fully participate in Sleddog Sports through tuition and coaching.

Academy team members will have the potential to achieve certificates and perhaps even progress to represent Wales in UK or International Sleddog Sports Competitions!

Doing Joe’s mushing academy is so fun!

Every session we learn a lot about dog welfare and how to care for a racing dog. We also learn about different dog breeds. Doing the actual mushing is amazing! The dogs go so fast that I sometimes feel like I might fall off, which makes it even more fun! Joe is really nice; she always makes sure that she puts the right people with the right dogs and that everyone is happy.

The dogs get so excited when you harness them up its really funny, they go crazy jumping around and barking, it’s so cute! The dogs are very friendly as well and love attention, so you get lots of adorable hugs and licks

I recommend Joe’s mushing academy to anyone who loves dogs and I definitely want to continue mushing in the future.
