OUR AMAZING DOGS
Meet the whole crew here! Don’t forget you can come and meet these dogs and get your very own cuddles, and fur on your clothes to take home!
Odin was bred by Salazka Siberian Husky Kennels a well respected show and working kennel here in the UK. Odin has worked hard throughout his racing career and has a few top placings in UK racing under his belt, to give you an idea; he led the team to win silver medal at the BSSF National Championship Series and World Cup qualifiers in 2017. Odin also won silver medal with his son Narvi in DR2NB at the UCSC Sherwood Pines event in 2016 and won Deans Doubles DR2 with Buzz in 2015. Odin has fathered two fantastic litters of puppies, 3 of whom live with us; Narvi, Beyla and Drake.
YOU CAN SPONSOR ME!
Hi I’m Odin, the fearless elder of the pack, I was born at the highly respected Salazka Siberian Husky Kennels here in the UK.
When I was a youngster, I enjoyed a high speed racing career and won awards in competitions that my human was super proud of! I led the team to win top placings at BSSF National Championship Series and World Cup qualifiers! I just remember the treats and fusses I got for working so hard!
Now I am older, I like to leave the racing to the younger pups. When we go out to play, I like to sit at the top of the hill and watch over them and laugh at their antics.
I’m proud to have my puppies as part of my pack, Narvi, Beyla and Drake, they are not as little as they used to be, having puppies of their own (my grandpuppies!).
I would be so honoured for you to sponsor me, this would help me maintain my healthy build, smart coat, and keep my tummy full of my favourite food. As a Thank You my human will send you regular pupdates about me, a memento of our friendship and a discount for us to meet one day soon!
Narvi (Odin’s son) is a cracking boy! Narvi is happy working in any position on the team and has a number of top places under his belt including qualifying and competing in DS2NB at the IFSS (International Federation for Sleddog Sports) World Dryland Championships in 2016.
Beyla (Odin’s daughter, Narvi’s litter sister). Beyla is fantastic little lady, she is full of personality, she absolutely loves a cuddle, in particular a belly rub! Beyla is our tiny pocket rocket, who only works in lead! She is spot on with every turn and has driven the team alongside her dad and brother to many great achievements in UK racing. Beyla is also mum to our first litter of pups born in May 2018.
Drake came from the Siwash Legend Kennel in Czech Republic and we are very proud to have him here. (Odin’s son, Beyla & Narvi’s half brother) Drake is one of our rising stars and we have high hopes for him. Drake is full of character and can often be seen skipping around the kennels like a little lamb!
Cuillin comes from another highly respected show and working kennels; Penkhala Siberian Huskies based here in the UK, both of his parents are Show and Working Champions. Cuillin takes his name from the magnificent mountain range on the Isle of Skye and is the brawn of the team, working in wheel position. He is a big, strong lad, but soft as a brush and wouldn’t say boo to a goose.
We are extremely proud to have this wonderful young man in our kennel, all the way from the fantastic 7 Mountains Siberian Husky Kennel in Bergen, Norway. Despite being the noisiest dog in our kennel, he is probably the softest young man I have ever met, not a bad bone in his body! He is showing promise in harness and we are so excited to have him on our race team for next season.
We took on Buzz from GSP Rescue Services at 7 months old, he is now almost 5 years old. Buzz has taught us so much about Hound breeds and we are grateful to him for that! Buzz races Bikejor with Mark although he does also train on the team either in lead or wheel. Buzz has some fantastic achievements under his belt, including qualifying and racing at international level at the IFSS (International Federation for Sleddog Sports) and was ranked 6th in the world cup rankings in 2016!
This leggy lady came to us from the awesome Fitzgerald Kennel in Scotland and is from a phenomenal line of World Champion racing Hounds. She flies in harness and is eagerly waiting to compete in the 2019 British National Championship series. Marbles has a beautiful temperament, she is gentle, kind but firm. She adores cuddles and is renowned for boxing you in the face with her paws.
Young Ghost is a cracking young chap, with a gentle, but playful attitude. Ghost comes from the fantastic Leask Racing Kennel in Scotland. Ghost loves to run…fast! Sadly, Ghost had an accident just before his first birthday so spent quite a lot of his time at a young age in recovery but he has made a fantastic recovery and we are certain he will achieve his full potential in harness once up to full fitness. We look forward to sharing Ghost’s first racing season this year.
This fantastic little twosome are our newest additions to our kennel and they have slotted right in. Named after two of our son’s favourite cartoon characters, they both have such sweet natures.
Chase is a bouncy boy who loves his food and lots of cuddles.
Starla loves to climb up your body to give kisses aka chewing ears and noses.
From Lapland Sleddog Adventures Kennel in Northern Sweden; their breeder was the first rookie to win the Finmarkslopet 500km race in Norway with Chase and Starla’s grandparents, aunties and uncles!
Our lovely little blue-eyed girl was the first born of our first ever litter, each puppy is named after Astrological Constellations. Beta Arae is the brightest star in the Ara constellation. Mum is our Beyla and dad is a fantastic boy called Xenon who comes from world champion Satanta racing kennels in Scotland. Arae has a cracking personality, she adores people, loves cuddles and lots of fuss. Arae loves to run and works well in lead, but sometimes lacks a little confidence in her ability, but that will come with time.
Named after the Great Bear constellation (Ursa Major), as she looked like a little Polar Bear cub when she was born. Ursa was our second born in the litter and is a beautiful brown-eyed girl, with a thick white coat of true Siberian fur. Ursa has fantastic drive when working in harness and gives everything she has. She is extremely soft-natured, loves people and lots of cuddles.
Sirius is the brightest star in the Canis Major (Great Dog) constellation and he certainly lives up to his name. Sirius, the third born of the litter, is by far one of the brightest stars and one of the greatest dogs in our kennel, he is also the craziest! Sirius lives to work and finds it difficult to take a break. Sirius is learning the ropes in lead and is proving himself phenomenal working alongside his buddy Lyder on our superfast team.
Ankaa is the brightest star in the Phoenix constellation, Phoenix being the name of our son, so we thought it would be perfect for our little last-born girl. Ankaa was born in the vets at 7.30am after Beyla’s labour stopped at around 4am! Ankaa is an absolute star, she is super intelligent and totally switched on to everything. She is the smallest of the 4 pups but makes up for it with a huge character. Ankaa loves to work in lead and is spot on with her turns. She is a happy little soul who is quite aloof and would rather play ‘catch me’ than come for a cuddle.
