Come and join us at Mynydd Sleddog Adventures for a special Meet the Team and Introduction to Sleddog Sports session!

• Tue 25 November, Wed 3 December and Wed 10 Dec
• 1:00 – 3:00 pm
• Mynydd Sleddog Adventures forest site is situated at Bwlch Hafod Einion near Llyn Brenig and Alwen Reservoir, North Wales. Close to The Sportsman’s Arms Inn – the highest pub in Wales. Approx. 14 miles from the picturesque towns of Denbigh, Ruthin and Llanrwst.

These sessions are designed for home educated young people and those in alternative education aged 11–16 who are curious about the world of sleddog sports and outdoor adventure.

You’ll get to:

• Meet our amazing sleddog team and learn all about their different roles and personalities
• Discover what sleddog activities are all about, from teamwork and training to care and welfare
• Take part in fun outdoor activities and find out what it’s like to be part of a sleddog team (no dogs will be running during this first session)
• Meet the humans behind Mynydd Sleddog Adventures and hear about how we work with young people through our Junior Academy and alternative education programmes.

With enough interest, we’re hoping to launch a Home Ed Junior Academy, meeting once a month from January 2026, giving the young people the chance to develop confidence, build skills, and enjoy regular outdoor learning with our team of dogs.
